Soccer Recap: Walla Walla Takes a Loss

Walla Walla lost against Kamiakin back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Braves who were credited with the victory. The Kamiakin Braves got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Walla Walla Blue Devils' two. While losing is never fun, Walla Walla can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Kamiakin are ranked 14th).

Walla Walla's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kamiakin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Walla Walla is set to take on their familiar foe Chiawana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kamiakin will challenge rival Kennewick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
