Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Highland Christian Academy last Tuesday, Grace Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Grace Christian Academy Cougars were beaten by the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors 67-35 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Grace Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-13. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Grace Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sherwood Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sherwood Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Southwest Georgia Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
