Football Recap: Boca Raton's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Boca Raton waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 24-6 victory over the Stoneman Douglas Eagles. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Bobcats this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boca Raton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Chapman, who threw for 268 yards and two TDs on only 17 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. What's more, Chapman racked up 137.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Adon Elmon helped Chapman out on the ground, picking up 110 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 81 yards on only seven carries.

Boca Raton's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Stoneman Douglas, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boca Raton will venture away from home to take on Royal Palm Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 7.4 points per game this season, so the Bobcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Stoneman Douglas, they will head out to square off against Coral Glades at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
