San Tan Charter skates past Leading Edge Academy - GEC with ease

The San Tan Charter Roadrunners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 23 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Leading Edge Academy - GEC 93-60 at home. Winning may never get old, but San Tan Charter sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

San Tan Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Lubash, who scored 20 points. The matchup was Lubash's 18th in a row with at least ten points. William Gordon was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds.

San Tan Charter is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Tan Charter will take on Gilbert Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gilbert Classical Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while San Tan Charter is ranked 32nd). As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, they will be playing at home against San Carlos at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in San Carlos' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matches.
