            Baseball Recap: St. Petersburg Catholic Barons vs. Osceola Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Northside Christian, St. Petersburg Catholic was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They skirted past the Osceola Warriors  6-5. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Barons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Max Newman looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because St. Petersburg Catholic is 2-1 when he allows at  most  two  walks, but 4-5 otherwise.

 At the plate,  Alex Fabelo and  Sam Newman did most of the damage at the plate:  Fabelo  scored a  run while going 3-for-4, while  Sam  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave  Fabelo a new career-high in  hits. Another player making a difference was  Aidan Heelan, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
The  victory  got St. Petersburg Catholic back to even at 6-6. As for Osceola,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Petersburg Catholic will welcome Tampa Prep  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. St. Petersburg Catholic's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so Tampa Prep's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Osceola, they will host Clearwater Central Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Osceola is facing Clearwater Central Catholic at the right time seeing as Clearwater Central Catholic is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
