Hinkley waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Manual Thunderbolts. This was payback for the Thunder, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hinkley was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 22-25, 25-15.

Anna Nunez paced Hinkley's offense, picking up eight kills. Nunez got some help from Gisele Chavez and her 14 assists. Chavez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hinkley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hinkley will take on DSST: Green Valley Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Manual, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Thornton at 5:00 p.m.
