Sandia Prep has gone 8-2 against Bosque recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sundevils are taking a road trip to face off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sandia Prep is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since August 28th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to St. Pius X. The shutout was out of character for the Sundevils seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-4, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Bosque didn't have quite enough to beat East Mountain on Wednesday and fell 3-2. While the Bobcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Timberwolves 25-13 in the first set.

Bosque actually scored more points across those five sets (100-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-14, 15-12.

This is the second loss in a row for Sandia Prep and nudges their season record down to 16-6. As for Bosque, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Everything went Sandia Prep's way against Bosque when the teams last played back in October, as Sandia Prep made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sundevils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
