Volleyball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

Jamestown lost against Sharon back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Muskies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Muskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Emmalie Yobe had another great game (as she tends to do), getting six kills, five aces, and three digs for Sharon. Yobe is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alauna Wilson, who had nine kills, nine digs, and two aces.

Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Sharon, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4-1.

Jamestown has already played their next match (against Commodore Perry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sharon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Oil City on the 7th.
