Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stanwood Spartans. That's two games in a row now that Everett have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Celis Robertson, who's now up to three this season.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Stanwood, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.

Everett has already played their next matchup (against Marysville-Pilchuck), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stanwood, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Snohomish on the 27th.
