Basketball Recap: Decatur Triumphs

Decatur won the last time they faced Cape Henlopen and things went their way on Thursday too. The Decatur Seahawks secured a 61-56 W over the Cape Henlopen Vikings.

Davin Chandler was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Loring, who posted nine points and eight rebounds.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Cape Henlopen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Decatur didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-42 win against Mardela on the 2nd. As for Cape Henlopen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-56 loss against Decatur on the 3rd.
