Volleyball Recap: East Rowan Finds Home Court Redemption Against Salisbury

There's no place like home for East Rowan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Salisbury Hornets on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won four in a row.

In the three sets East Rowan was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 23-25, 25-12, 25-14.

East Rowan found their leader in freshman Emory Stewart, who had five digs and four aces.

East Rowan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matches.

East Rowan's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Salisbury, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
