Parker suffers 11th straight loss on the road

Recap: Parker Braves vs. Bishop Kenny Crusaders

This season hasn't been kind to the Parker Braves, who are still winless after their 12th contest. They were beaten by Bishop Kenny 79-9 on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parker in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Clare Coyle was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and five steals for Bishop Kenny. Coyle has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Reese Mayer was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.

Parker dropped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bishop Kenny, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parker will square off against the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Kenny, they will head out on the road to square off against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Seffner Christian is ranked 19th, while the Crusaders are ranked 15th).
