Basketball Recap: Mount Tabor's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Mount Tabor won the last time they faced Glenn, and Shaymiah Bailey did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mount Tabor Spartans really took it to the Glenn Bobcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-15 win thanks in part to Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards. She has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 15 times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Amani Morris, who posted nine points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Mount Tabor moved to 6-14 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Glenn, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Tabor will square off against Reagan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenn, they will challenge East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Forsyth will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Glenn surely won't give up without a fight.
