Volleyball Recap: Highland's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Highland won the last time they faced Century, and Jaycie Homer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rams blew past the Diamondbacks 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Homer, who had 18 assists and three digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Highland never let Century on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

Highland's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-5. As for Century, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Highland will head out to face off against Canyon Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Century, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
