Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Delmarva Christian

Delmarva Christian won the last time they faced Wilmington Charter and things went their way on Sunday too. The Delmarva Christian Royals enjoyed a cozy 49-34 victory over the Wilmington Charter Force. The win was all the more spectacular given the Royals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Force are ranked 44th).

Delmarva Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Wilmington Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Delmarva Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Wilmington Charter: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
