Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Parowan's Winning Streak

After flying high against Milford on Thursday, Parowan came back down to earth. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beaver Beavers on Tuesday. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Beaver scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 25-20.

Leading Beaver to victory were Ainsley Brown and Leila Alisa. Brown had ten digs and two aces, while Alisa had 18 digs, seven kills, four aces, and two blocks. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

With the loss, Parowan broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Beaver, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parowan will take on Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beaver, they will face off against Piute at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
