Beaverhead County strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Butte Central Catholic Maroons by a score of 8-3.

Cohen Hartman was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Moreni, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

Beaverhead County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Butte Central Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Beaverhead County and Butte Central Catholic will both be playing Butte the next time they take the field. The Maroons will host the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Beavers will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on the 11th.
