Baseball Recap: Bessemer City Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bessemer City's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Highland Tech Rams on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost nine in a row.

Bessemer City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karsen Bradshaw, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Bessemer City's record is now 5-10. As for Highland Tech, they moved to 6-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Bessemer City will square off against Lincolnton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland Tech will be paying especially close attention to the Yellow Jackets' matchup: after the Yellow Jackets faces off against the Wolves, they'll take on Highland Tech again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
