Baseball Recap: Littleton Takes a Loss

Littleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 9-6 to the Smoky Hill Buffaloes.

Peyton Brooks made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Lucas Calonder was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Littleton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Littleton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Widefield on the 15th. As for Smoky Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Adams City on the 13th.
