Soccer Recap: Rivendell Academy Takes a Loss

Rivendell Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Grace Christian Lions. While losing is never fun, Rivendell Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 53rd in New Hampshire, while Grace Christian is ranked fifth in Vermont).

Rivendell Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Grace Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rivendell Academy will head out to face off against Thetford Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Proctor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
