Basketball Recap: Duchesne Comes Up Short

Duchesne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the St. Charles Pirates and fell 54-20. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 494th, while the Pirates are ranked 221st).

Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for St. Charles, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Coming up, Duchesne will challenge Lutheran South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Charles has already played their next game (against Warrenton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
