Softball Recap: Riverside Ram vs. Kellam Knights
Riverside had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Kellam Knights by a score of 6-2 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but Riverside sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Kaylee Kadans spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Kaylie Avvisato was excellent, going 1-for-4 with a home run. Charlotte Moore was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with a home run.
