Volleyball Recap: AIMS College Prep Comes Up Short

AIMS College Prep lost against KIPP King back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Golden Eagles haven't been shut out since back in March.

While AIMS College Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-17.

AIMS College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for KIPP King, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Coincidentally, AIMS College Prep and KIPP King will both be playing Griffin Academy the next time they take the court. The Golden Eagles will head out to face the Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
