Vernon Cole's rushing tear continued on Saturday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 144+ rushing yards. He rushed for 158 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. He was dominant the last time he took on Payton College Prep back in October of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Cole was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.

Looking ahead, Cole and Lane Tech will take on Bulls College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
