With a playoff win on the line, Briarcrest Christian rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Saints sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Camille Northcross paced Briarcrest Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Northcross got some help from Sarah O'Connor and her 42 assists. Navia Partee and Kadence Dumas kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Briarcrest Christian's victory bumped their record up to 29-8. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, with the loss, they broke their 19-match winning streak and moved their record to 25-5.

Christ Presbyterian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Knoxville Catholic on the 22nd. Hopefully Briarcrest Christian paid attention to the Lions' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
