Soccer Recap: Placer Takes a Loss

Placer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Del Campo Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Hillmen have lost by just one goal.

Placer's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Del Campo, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Placer will head out on the road to challenge Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roseville will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Placer surely won't give up without a fight. As for Del Campo, they will head out to face off against Nevada Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nevada Union's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
