Volleyball Recap: John Jay Extends Winning Streak to Four

John Jay entered their tilt with North Rockland on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Raiders. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

John Jay was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 14-25, 25-17, 15-12.

John Jay was led to victory by Lilliana Bojarczuk and Bella Cabrera. Bojarczuk had nine digs, while Cabrera had 21 digs and six kills. Those nine digs gave Bojarczuk a new career-high.

John Jay's victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
