Turner entered their tilt with Trimble Tech on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Trimble Tech Bulldogs as they made off with a 48-27 victory. The Lions pushed the score to 40-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Turner found their leader in sophomore Matthew Stone, who went 6 of 11from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Johnson, who posted six points and four steals.

Turner's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Trimble Tech, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Turner won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Irving at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trimble Tech, they are taking a road trip to square off against Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
