Softball Game Preview: Crismon Rattlers vs. Eastmark Firebirds

For the second straight game, Crismon will face off against Eastmark. Crismon will take on Eastmark at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Crismon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.8 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Crismon got the win against Eastmark by a conclusive 17-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rattlers.

Isabella Salado was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, eight RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Salvidar, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Crismon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Crismon's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average this season. As for Eastmark, they moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Crismon has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .566. However, it's not like Eastmark struggles in that department as they've averaged .439. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
