On Friday Allison Hickman struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit, which was good enough to set a new career-low in hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with more than six strikeouts. This year, she has an ERA of 2.42 over 37.7 innings pitched.
