The Omro Foxes are taking a road trip to take on the Campbellsport Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Omro is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Weyauwega-Fremont with a sharp 21-5 win on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Foxes with their most commanding win of the season.

Brock Frye made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Omro: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 2-6 otherwise. Frye was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cade Boynton was a standout: he got on base in three of his six plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Piper, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Omro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Campbellsport came out on top against Central Wisconsin Christian on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Cougars beat the Crusaders by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.
Owen Bong spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brody Nolan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jace Goebel, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
Omro's record is now 4-7. As for Campbellsport, their record now sits at 12-3-1.
Omro's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. The Foxes have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Campbellsport, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Omro continue to outrun the ball?
Omro came out on top in a nail-biter against Campbellsport in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Foxes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
