Woodward Academy had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.2 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-42 win over the Tri-Cities Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-63 last Tuesday.

Woodward Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayla Whitner led the charge by putting up 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Delaney Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.

Woodward Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Tri-Cities still got an impressive performance from Hannah Morris, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssia Bandele, who posted seven points along with eight boards and three steals.

Woodward Academy pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Tri-Cities, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.
