Baseball Recap: Taravella Takes a Loss

Taravella was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hialeah Educational Academy Bulldogs.

Taravella's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taravella will face off against Fort Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojan Man's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flying L's have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, they will be playing at home against iMater Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
