Softball Recap: Holmes County Central Comes Up Short

Holmes County Central scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 21-4 to the McAdams Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Holmes County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for McAdams, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holmes County Central will take on Yazoo City at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for McAdams, they will challenge Ethel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
