            Baseball Recap: Pine Creek Eagles vs. Vista Ridge Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            Pine Creek extended their winning streak  to four  on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 8-2 in the process. They were the clear victors by  a  16-2 margin over the Vista Ridge Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matches by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 Aiden Wilson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. Wilson was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and two  doubles. He is  on a roll when it comes to  RBI, as he's  now  brought in three or more in each of the last three games he's  played.

 In other batting news,  Tristan Mullis was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Troy Peerey, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  run.
 Pine Creek  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
As for Vista Ridge, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.
 On Vista Ridge's side,  Izeah Brinck-Torres was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  run.
 Pine Creek has already played their next game,  a  12-11  loss against Liberty on the 15th. As for Vista Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  matchup,  an  11-1  defeat against Ponderosa on the 14th.
