            Baseball Preview: Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders vs. Bourne Canalmen        
        
		
        
        
            The Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders will square off against the Bourne Canalmen at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Somerset Berkley Regional will be strutting in after a  victory while Bourne will be coming in after a  defeat.
Somerset Berkley Regional will bounce into Monday's   match after  beating Apponequet Regional, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Raiders skirted past the Lakers  4-3.
 Kyle Sherman Jr. spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side, Somerset Berkley Regional saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alex Crook, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. That  stolen base was  Crook's first of the season.
 Meanwhile, Bourne was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  10-1 to West Bridgewater, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Bourne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
