Softball Recap: Heston Academy Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Heston Academy won against North Michigan Christian Academy last Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Patriots beat the Comets by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 last Tuesday.

Heston Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs this season. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Heston Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Lake Fenton on the 12th. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Merrill on the 12th.
