Basketball Recap: Kenneth Haynes' Big Game Can't Quite Lead HALO over Glen Iris Baptist

After flying high against Peachtree Academy on Tuesday, HALO came back down to earth. The Wolfpack took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen on Friday.

Several Wolfpack players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kenneth Haynes, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards. Haynes has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 36 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Dukes, who posted ten points.

HALO now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Glen Iris Baptist, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

HALO has already played their next contest, a 51-49 defeat against Bible Baptist Christian on the 5th. As for Glen Iris Baptist, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 74-54 loss against Lanier Christian Academy on the 6th.
