John Marshall had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Wheeling Park Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Monarchs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).
The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-21.
Nia Miller paced John Marshall's offense, picking up 12 kills. Miller got some help from Sarah Hess and her 28 assists. Zoey Gunn controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
John Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 16-5-3. As for Wheeling Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-1 record this season.
