Tucson High Magnet School came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cesar Chavez Champions a 15-0 shutout. The Badgers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Tucson High Magnet School got a massive performance out of Jaliyah Grigsby, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Claudeona Lesley was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Tucson High Magnet School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .625. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2024.

Tucson High Magnet School pushed their record up to 21-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
