Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sierra Vista). They put the hurt on the Valley Vikings with a sharp 27-6 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mountain Lions.

It was another big night for Caleb Green, who rushed for 133 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Philip Raymundo, who threw for 137 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Sierra Vista now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Sierra Vista wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 21-0 victory against Chaparral on the 19th. As for Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 33-20 win against Pinecrest Academy Cadence on the 19th.
