Basketball Game Preview: Neelyville Tigers vs. Doniphan Dons

The Neelyville Tigers will challenge the Doniphan Dons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Neelyville sitting on six straight wins and Doniphan on three.

It was a proper cat-fight when Neelyville duked it out withSouth Iron on Friday. Neelyville secured a 61-56 W over South Iron.

Meanwhile, Doniphan hadn't done well against Saxony Lutheran recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Everything went Doniphan's way against Saxony Lutheran as Doniphan made off with a 71-47 victory.

Neelyville pushed their record up to 8-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Doniphan, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-8.
