Westlake extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kyrksen Cook. The Chaparrals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Summer Creek Bulldogs on Saturday with plenty of help from Cook, who had five digs and five aces. She has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Summer Creek, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Westlake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Flour Bluff on the 16th. As for Summer Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Shadow Creek on the 19th.
