Preview: Indian Creek Eagles vs. Chesapeake Science Point
Indian Creek is 5-0 against Chesapeake Science Point since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Indian Creek Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet Chesapeake Science Point at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Indian Creek's game on Wednesday was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to Annapolis Area Christian 62-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Loss or not, Indian Creek got some senior leadership from Aiden Evans who scored 20 points and Sefton Robinson who scored 16 points. Evans scored a full 35.7% of Indian Creek's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Amin, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Chesapeake Science Point lost to Leonardtown at home by a decisive 65-47 margin last Tuesday. Chesapeake Science Point has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Indian Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Chesapeake Science Point, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Indian Creek against Chesapeake Science Point when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 72-44 win.
