Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Cardinals vs. Lewistown Indians

The Hamilton Cardinals will face off against the Lewistown Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hamilton will be strutting in after a victory while Lewistown will be coming in after a defeat.

Hamilton is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Seymour: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Hamilton blew Seymour out of the water with a 60-30 final score. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Jadyn Climer was her usual excellent self, going 6 for 12 on her way to 17 points, to go along with seven rebounds and seven steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dettriona Church, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Lewistown was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 32-31 to Midwest Central/Delavan. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Lewistown, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.
