Recap: Lakeland Regional Lancers vs. Clifton Mustangs
If the Lakeland Regional Lancers were feeling good off their 72-52 takedown of the Eastern Christian Eagles last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lakeland Regional had to suffer through a rough 60-32 loss at the hands of Clifton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lakeland Regional has scored all season.
Lakeland Regional lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyler Lynn, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Justin Meakem was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Lakeland Regional's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Clifton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
Lakeland Regional will be playing in front of their home fans against Park Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Clifton on the road again on Tuesday and play against Bergen Tech at 4:30 p.m. on January 30th.
