Baseball Recap: Republic Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Republic's offense. They lost 26-0 to the Selkirk Rangers on Tuesday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rangers earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Republic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Selkirk, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Republic will face off against rival Curlew at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Selkirk is set to take on their familiar foe Cusick at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
