Football Recap: Fairview Piles Up the Points Against Arapahoe + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Fairview rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Arapahoe Warriors 78-28. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ki Ellison had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 308 yards and six TDs while picking up 15.4 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 102 yards and one score on only nine carries. Those six passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Toray Davis also helped out as he racked up 146 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fairview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 345 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Fairview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. It was a group effort, with five picking up one apiece. Sabi Ruttgers got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Arapahoe lost, don't look at Landon Drumm. Despite the final result, he picked up 236 receiving yards. Drumm was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 50 yards. Theo Lee was in the mix too, providing Arapahoe with two touchdowns.

Fairview's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Arapahoe, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

As of now, neither Fairview nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
