Volleyball Recap: DSST: Montview Takes a Loss

DSST: Montview was the 3-1 winner over DSST: Green Valley Ranch when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Raptors on Friday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 11-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Abagail Yohannes paced DSST: Montview's offense, picking up 17 kills. Yohannes got some help from Jamie Ladner and her 12 assists. Sydney Connors controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

DSST: Montview's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

DSST: Montview has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against KIPP Denver Collegiate on the 20th. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 20th.
