Softball Recap: Delano Takes a Loss

Delano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Chavez Titans, falling 12-1. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 22-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Delano saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anahi Arroyo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Delano's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Chavez, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7.

While Delano had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
